Help with samples

Can I put 1 sound on different pads without renaming or replacing it ?

of course, just press mode, program (don`t have my mpc with me but i think it`s pad 6 or something) and assign the same sample for all the pads if you want to... but what`s the point?

Learn to make programs on the MPC instead of using a PC program because that slightly defeats the purpose of having a portable beat machine.

i kinda agree with you and kinda don`t i make the programs usually directly on the mpc as i usually don`t have a PC to do this but come on, why waste a few minutes when you`re at home instead of wasting a few seconds and then use the rest of the minutes in a creative way?
