MPK 25 and MPC 500

I've read that the MPK has a MPC 500 mode, what does it do, could not find it in the manual? Looking for a compact way to play sample based arrangements live ie: Flying Lotus, Gas Lamp Killer etc. I envision my 6GB sample library, properly pre-configured and loaded on the MPC, triggered by the MPK, a nice outboard hardware mixer, and hardware FX. Is this possible? Tired of working on a computer, I miss hardware, Hardware sequencers/module and samplers were how Depeche Mode and others did it before DAW's. Just thinking up different ways to work.

You cant trigger the 500 with the mpk. But there is also no need to do that, as you can trigger all your samples with the 500 and accomplish your goal of not using a computer, with just the 500
