Can't select PARAMS!!!!!

Hi,

Turned my MPC500 on this morning, loaded up programs, hit SEQUENCE, then TRACK, then PARAMS to select the program I wanted but for some reason (that I can't understand) PARAMS won't show anything!

Has this happened to anyone??? Mega help needed!

No. Sounds like you did everything right. Is this the first time it happened or the first time you turned it on?

If you got the 128MB RAM, check if its snuggly fit. If not then you might need to reinstall the OS. Which OS is yours is running on? 1.31 is the latest, get it if you don't. Bugs appear from time to time on the 500 but reinstalling works 80% of the time.
