How do I delete the stock samples, programs, and presets?

I really want to use my MPC500! But I can't yet because there are a lot of frustrating elements in the way. I just want to record samples and save them on my cf card (not the stock cf). I haven't been able to do this due to "INSUFFICENT MEMORY", the very annoying presets (like the pads with reverb or a panned sound), and I just really want to get rid of all that "TOP GUN" "TOP SET" garbage. Like I said, I just wanna put samples and this thing and get to making beats, so I don't want to delete anything that i need like the metronome or any of that important stuff (i would hope those are impossible to delete). So please HELP ME, I can not wait to emerge into the worl of all things MPC500. (I'm new to the MPC500 and the FORUM so please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong regarding the post's subject or body.) This is the first online community i've joined, sorry if i messed up and all help is GREATLY APPRECIATED. Thank you.

just buy a new CF with more memory dude, isn't the stock one 16MB???

it is in the manual somewhere, not sure where though. And the only reason I'm referring you to the manual is because I can't remember how to do it myself.

actually WTF? just go to load/save and scroll along to delete and delete the programs/samples you don't need.

you can never totally clear it completely though. I remember that from my training

@mastasteez i had a hell of a time finding one but i got a SanDisk Ultra 2 cf. it says 15mb/s 4gb. is that any better?

@Ill-Green thanks awesome link. they should make it the front cover of the manual. but even if i delete everything will i still have those annoying presets that are fitted into some of the pads like the reverb and stuff?

not sure which card's are cool or not, I got me a 'Transcend 133x 2GB'. Not sure of any serial numbers or anything.

There are posts relating to that question too though. You just gotta master the search function (which is harder than the MPC!!!)

Everything is deleted. Your MPC will be like a blank canvas.
