But **** am I glad AKAI is bringing out a portable machine with 16 (SIXTEEN) pads instead of 12.

And more banks....

And it doesn't look like it was shat out the ass of a MPC 2500.....

Wow I gotta say that was kinda abstract, but very true.

This whole time, I've been wondering why Midi controllers are taking out all the hardware, but that seems to be the real answer. I am a little worried about everything being digital, not because I don't like digital, because I believe that music has true roots. All this digital mess to me is just another fad. It will go away just like the fanny packs (or so we hope) because we all love our hardware.
