Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

I despair at my own stupidity.

I got my MPC 500 with a 128MB Memory SD Card with some Samples on it. I wanted to delete the already existing sequences and tracks on the MPC but DELETED THE SAMPLES ON MEMORY CARD instead.

Does anyone know, where I can get that samples back?? Can anyone send me the samples?

Please guys, help me out.

IDK for sure but probably a recovery program could help.
1. Make sure the SD Card is write protected with the little switch on the card.
2. DL a recovery tool. (I once used http://www.piriform.com/recuva and got good results.)
3. put the SD card in your card reader and use the recovery tool. Save the files that the tool will find on your PC (the card is write protect ATM)
4. If everything worked out you can switch the cards write protection off and copy the files to the card.

good luck

Are you talking about the standard samples that come with the MPC when you buy it (the akai samples)? If so, i have the original content of the card on my computer as a back up. If you want i can upload it somewhere... but to be honest, those sounds are nothing to go crazy about...
