Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

Ok. I got a gift today for my Pawnshop where I got my MPC500. I got the 128mb Sound library card and an AC adapter (Yay!!). Thing is, I'm not sure if this is the 12mb memory expansion (which I already have), or a CF card. I'm guessing it's a sound library CF card. Is it any good? I'm guessing I could just copy the files, then transfer to my 4GB cf card via usb, but wonder if it's worth the trouble? Due to the fact this mpc came with 4 sequences, and sounds to go with those, I could just keep working with those, or maybe better off taking the trouble to load some free samples I got on a Future Music DVD. I don't know, I kind of really want to just leave my own 4gb card empty for my own sequences, samples and programs. I'm thinking the stuff from the akai card would be more compatible and compact than the stuff from Future Music. Ya'll think I'm guessing right?

"Figure it out and roll with it."

There's nothing wrong with using default sounds.
Seems like you can't make up your mind. Just do it
and see how it works out for you.
