500 doesn't transmit midi data over the USB connection.

It will not work, its a slave type of USB that will only import and export data like wav samples.

You'll have to connect MIDI cables and audio 1/4 cables into your interface in order record whatever tracks and sequences from your 500 in PT. I know you know audio can't flow through MIDI so just letting you know that its not gonna work the way you think.

I know that the MIDI signal is not a audio signal, it's obvious.
Maybe I write situation one more time:

-i got: MPC500, Interface MIDI USB (cable which has: one stick usb as in/out on one side and two stick's MIDI as in and out on 2nd side) and Protools on Mbox2mini,

Now I won't to connect my MPC with my MIDI interface cable to computer which is connect with my Mbox2mini by USB too and of course I wont to have sync between MPC and Protools. I would like to have MPC as a master in this case of course but in slave it will be nice too:]

I don't talk about audio connection, I already have this, of course but now I need sync between MPC and Protools.
