HI hat decay and midi duration value

Hi,

I was just wondering why I can-t get my mpc to control the decay time of a hi hat sample with the midi duration value.

I hev tried all with the envelope but it is not working !!!!!! ?


any hints people...

by the way... it is an open hat sample, and just want it to shorten as written on midi.

change one shot to note on?

That did it thanks... I was looking for that thing but I just couldn't remeber the name of that parameter.
