loading samples from computer to mpc 500

hey guys,
i just got an mpc 500 and a usb cable. ive searched the google, youtube, and this site for a tutorial on how to transport samples from my computer (mac) to my mpc 500.
help would be greatly appreciated

A power adapter would be next and then once you have one of them and can turn the thing on, go to mode>Pad 8(I think), scroll righ to USB and you should be good.

Much easier to get a CF card reader and drag and drop, especially if you have a new mac with 3.0 USB, mine cost £2 off Amazon

thanks a ton! ive got it connected but i still dont know how to find the mpc 500 on the computer and drop samples into there.

What mastasteez said is true.

Mode / Pad (Load) / Scroll to the right one, and it should be USB. When this comes up, your computer should come up with something.

If there's no CF card in the MPC card slot that's what would happen. If it doesn't show up as a removable drive and a card is in there, format the card in the MPC. Then the 500 will show up in your hard drive list and you can drag and drop folders/files to it.

It's not desktop on Windows, it will be under My Computer. OS X, yes it would be the desktop.
