play a melody with samples

I have a nice sample that I have assigned to a PAD.
Now, I want to play a melody with it. How can I do ?? I mean I want on a track, to program the same samples but using different events corresponding to the sample at different tunes

also, try and find out the original key of your track and sample something else like a keyboard and play them in that way.
