Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

I've cut a loop on the computer that was cut perfectly when played played in the DAW. I've exported it with the transports in exactly the right place, timestretched to dead on 4 bars at 135 bpm, I put it in the MPC set loop on trim mode, use the play loop function in trim mode and it still sounds perfect. But when I try to sequence it at 135 bpm in a 4 bar loop there is a silence at the end before it loops back round. WHAT MORE DOES IT WANT FROM ME :x

Turn TC off and then go into OVERDUB of your beat and adjust the BPM until its tight. Sounds like you have to reduce the BPM from 135 to 120, but adjust until it loops really swell.

Yeah, even though the sample is 135, sequencing at 135 is a different story.

Sounds like the sample is faster than the sequence, so make it fit by adjusting the BPM during OVERDUB.
