Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

I'm having problems with my samples. There's a buzzing sound coming from my speakers I got the turntable and the speakers plugged directly to the Mpc. Anyone know what maybe causing this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You buy a phono amp, or use some sort of amplifier or DJ mixer with a phono input.

Plugging it straight in to the MPC will not work right, if the turntable has a normal phono output. It will only work properly if the turntable has a line level output, instead of the standard phono level output.

As well as giving you a ground connection, a phono amp will also provide the RIAA de-emphasis EQ curve, needed to make a phono output sound the way it should...
