Trying to use the Triton arpeggiator via midi mpc 500

I have my Triton *Classic* hooked up midi via mpc 500. I cannot remember how to get the arpeggiator to play externally thru the MPC. I know this works with a MPC 2000XL from having it set up years ago but cant remember how or if it works for Mpc 500.

My settings on Keyboard are Global>MidiClock External.Local Control on. Am I missing something? I'm able to use the Note repeat on the Mpc 500 but its not the same as using the arpeggiator from Triton. When I set everything up on Triton and press arpeggiator I get NO sound at all.
