Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

I know that the MPC 500 can only support a 2GB CF Card, but I'm having trouble buying such a small size in our local shops. Can I use a 4 or 8GB in the slot (I understand that I'll still only be able to use 2 GB of the storage), but just wondering will the MPC500 recognise and work as normal with larger capacity?
thanks

My MPC 500 has RAM that works in 133 MHz (exactly 256MB SO-DIMM 133 MHz). I want to buy CF card, on it's also x133 writen. Is it related? What specifics and params need I follow when I buy CF card.

I'm beginner and my english.... I hope you will understand.
Thanks for help.
