*My english is not so good.

I have a problem with a tempo in the sequences. For example: I have percussion loop and the sample loop. When i play free sample (I just tap on one pad throughout sequence), percussion loop is at once faster than sample loop. How can i repair this?

heres what i do to get a samlpes tempo.

1. sample the loop and asign it to a pad. set to play to end.

2. in a new sequence the same number of bars long as the sample i'm trying to loop. i add a new pad event at the first beat and bar using step edit.

3. play the sequence and adjust the tempo untill it sounds right.

if i have a loop that i'l trying to fit to a different tempo, i normaly chop it up and resequence it at the desired bpm. sometimes by hand, sometimes with Shuriken beat slicer. but sometimes i just resample it again with the turntable pitched up or down to match the tempo. or even just adjust its pitch in untill it fits in the mpc.

you can also timestretch a loop to a diferent tempo in the mpc500, but i've never done it.

theres a load of ways to do it and each one sounds a little bit diferent.
