Can I slow a drum loop down to half speed on the 500?

I saw something in a review about the 500 not being able to pitch a sample up or down. For real?

Sure it can. 3 octaves up and down.

Hi Menco!! would please tell me the relation between pitch shifting and time stretching. I mean, how do u know what amount of time you are changing when you pitch a X numer of semitones?

Yeah its got pitch. I think it ranged from -50% to +25%. Its pretty useful but the sound will get digitally robotic when going too far. My old MS-1 pitches better, it sounded like an actual record player slowing or speeding up.
