WTF!?

Musicthing just reported this unit at couple hundred MORE than the MPC1k?
Am I missing something?? Are they simply reporting incorrect?

initially they'll probably try to charge $750 or so just cause of the hype, but im guessin they'll be in the area of $500-600 after the hype settles. im actually pretty exited about this piece, looks dope, the specs are good, got the old school-lookin screen. ill probably cop one when i got some chedder to spend. i think its worth it if the sewquencer is as tight as the other mpc's. defintly blows the sp-404 out the box, i had one , it was fun and all but the sequencer was really limited and the pads were wack compared to mpc pads. some of u guys on here love to **** and moan and criticize akai, i dont really understand why since u all use thier products .

I don't know! If you have 1k, 2k, 2kxl 3k or even 4k I don't see a reason why to spend cah on the baby one! I would spend those 600$ on some good MIDI controllers, EFX processors or reverb units! Don't know! It's my thoughts!
