MPC 1000s are being sold for $700-$800 new. You may have to hangle over the price though. I would start with Alto Music and VST Service to see what kind of deal you can get. Use these prices as a basis to hangle with your local GC.

But for real...I prefer these more traditional MPCs.

I'd rather have your two machines over the 4000 as well...so I don't blame you there.

All I have is a camera phone so the quality is pretty low but.........

It's tight!!1.....the only problem I have is with the headphone jack(so far). Since this is a portable unit it will mainly be used with headphones I predict that the headphone jack will be the first thing to go on most peoples units ...........so be careful with it!!!!1

Actually I have two problems with the 500, the second one is that the cursor section feels cheaper than my 2500 but no big deal I guess. :?

I've just called Nova Musik for pre-ordering. They have offered it for 650.

Well, you'd be stupid not to buy it...you ccould sell it on ebay and make $100 profit.

$100? No, I would only break even. Ebay/Pay Pal fees/my time...not worth selling this on eBay.

Its hard fitting dinner and a movie for me and the kids under $100

distortedtekno...why are you not playing with your 1000?
