Peepz, Im ready to start recordin my beats to computer.
I want your help me pluggin my material... I have my soundcard inside my X-station 25, what Cables I need, and where I connect the cables?

You need to connect the outputs of the MPC to the inputs of the X-Station25.

It is simple, connect outputs to inputs.

You need normal 1/4 inch (6.5mm) instrument/guitar cables.

Can I save my sequences for .wav to my 128 card? HOW do I do THAT? and what cable I need for my x-station 25? I got 1 input left... the other input got the mic plugged...

If you want to record the MPC outputs as stereo, then you need to unplug the mic, and use two 1/4 inch unbalanced instrument/guitar cables.

If you want to use the mic at the same time as recording the MPC into the X-Station25, then you can only record a mono signal from the MPC, and you would only connect one cable from one of the MPC outputs to the X-Station.

Like I said twice above already, you need a normal 1/4" instrument/guitar cable (you need 2 of these same cables if you are unplugging the mic so that you can record stereo from the MPC).

It is a standard cable used for guitars/synths/etc., available at any music store.

Do an ebay search for 'guitar cable' or 'instrument cable' and you will find plenty. Just make sure it doesn't have an XLR connector on one end, it should have the same connector on both ends. If you look at some of these ads, you will see that most of them are similar, with the same connector on both ends, and they are what you want.

You need it to have a 1/4 inch (6.5mm) T/S (Tip/Sleeve) plug on each end. This plug is like a large headphone plug, not the small walkman style headhone plugs, but instead of the 3 sections on the end of the plug (Tip/Ring/Sleeve-TRS) that the headphone plug has, it only has 2 sections (Tip/Sleeve-TS).

They could be called guitar cables, instrument cables, 1/4 inch cables (but make sure they are unbalanced Tip/Sleeve, not balanced Tip/Ring/Sleeve).

When you need to plug the cable into the X-Station25, it uses the same connector as where you have the microphone plugged in at the moment.

Those large round sockets on the X-Station25 Inputs are called combo-connectors, they accept both 1/4 inch plugs from guitar/instrument cables as well as the larger 3 pin XLR/Cannon type plugs that most microphone cables use.

There is a 1/4 inch hole in the middle of the socket for the 1/4 inch guitar/instrument cable, as well as 3 smaller holes and the large 'ring' hole around the outside of the 1/4 inch hole, that allow the XLR/Cannon plug to use the same socket.

You can also get RCA-to-1/4 inch adapters, which allow you to use spare RCA (home stereo type) cables, if you have any of those cables lying around...

Having proper cables would be better, but this might get you going cheaply, if that matters.

These adapters might also be useful for other things in the future, like if you took the MPC to a friends housde and wanted to plug it into their home stereo/hifi system.

Yeah I know, I use the RCA cable plugged into PhoneOUT on MPC... but it got a red and yellow in's cable and its impossible to save sound for computer..
