before the akai website used to say....

that the 500's polyphony was 32 voices(dependent on processing),
now thats not written on there anymore, just 32 voices.

so what happened?
the OS change??

Wow that is interesting. Since Akai bothered to update thier site a little they should have a least bothered to update our 500's OS while they where there.

o ok so they didnt, i thought they might have updated the OS guess not.

di u ever experience problems where you noticed it messing up and you havent even reached 32 polyphony?

i wonder why they changed that on their site then.

LOL...yeah that is a little strange. I had never had problems with the polyphony.

so over all u suggest its a good buy pads is a must also and portable, aside from using ableton live but for movin and makin beats in other places not having to lug around the laptop and padkontrol.?.

It's a fun toy! But the mpc-1000 is a better toy
