hiyall!!!
i'm having some problems when I create programs using bluebox...
When i chop the samples using soundforge, I name them like: frenchguitar01 frenchguitar02..ecc..
It happens very often that when i'm importing these programs into mpc it says that it couldn't find the samples of the new programs.. so what i have to do is rename all the samples like : frenchguitar01, renchguitar enchguitar03.. ecc...
is it me doin something wrong when saving programs? or is it a Blue box issue??

thanx for any advice!!!

Sounds like it's going to be blue box. I don't use bluebox but when naming the samples or programs using my PC I don't have a problem. :D

try shortening up the spell of ur samples for example: frnchgit1,frnchgit2 etc.... what u don't want is samples with the long name where it has to cut the spelling out of the sreen for example french guit.......

Yeah that is a good point. I try to keep the spelling of the names I use under 8 characters if possible but even when they do exceed 8 characters I haven't had a problem.

CK Rename is a batch file renamer.

Try to stick with 8 or less character names when importing from
fat/fat16 formated cards from pc.

by the way, bobby, you are not the only one with this issue. got the same problem. even when I erase a sample on the cf from my pc, the sample sometimes comes back  when I read the card from my mpc .
I'm chopping with recycle.
