What exactly are you saving, how are you playing that back in your computer?

Are you playing back the sequence in your computer, or are you recording the MPC output back into the MPC, and then playing that sample back on your computer?

A little more info is needed to try to help you.

Well, I wouldn't expect Windows Media Player to recognize an MPC500 sequence and program.

You might be able to save the sequence as a MIDI file, and then load that into something to play it, but that would also need a software sampler to play the sample, and you would have to set that up. From the MPC500 manual though, it seems that it does not allow the saving of a sequence as a MIDI file.

If you want to play it back in Windows Media Player, record the MPC500 main output back into the MPC500, as the sequence is playing, then save that new sample, and load that into Windows Media Player.

I don't think you can play the MPC500 sequences/songs/programs/etc. on a computer.
