i mean i saved the sounds to my computer and then when i hooked up the usb everything seemed to be going fine. first i went to my computer. opened it. opened the folder with the sounds. opened the 500 mass storage device folder. then select all. and then copy. and then paste. and when i tried to disconnect the device it wouldnt let me. it said it had an error with generic volume or something. so i tried everything but i still couldnt remove it so i turned off my computer and just pulled out the usb cord. but now when i try and load the folder on my mpc it doesnt work. whenever i load the folder it just clears everything. i can only load the samples one by one. what is going on??

Okay, I'm a newbie myself, but here's some things you might wanna try ...

Before unplugging your MPC from your computer, drag the mass storage device folder to the trash (I assume you're on a Mac like me  ). After you do that, you can unplug the MPC without fear of losing data or errors.

And after you load your samples into the MPC, you have to create programs and load your samples into the programs ... at least, that's what I had to do after an hour of frustration, reading and rereading the manual, and a bit of "woo-sah" ... haha!

Hope that helps in some way.
