Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

Welcome to the Forum TechDigital. I'd just start with messing around with the box. I wasn't new to MPC's so the 500 wasn't a leap. The folks here are friendly. A run through the manual and hittin' up these pages will give you a decent foundation. It is taking time to pound on the machine that will give you experience and knowledge.

For sure, I most definitely second that. Your first step is going through the manual and doing everything step by step, even the stuff you don't think your going to use. Hit up these boards with any questions that you may have no matter how silly or simple you think them to be. Everybody helps out here, you may run across a few idiots, just ignore them.

Ive been playing with it but as of now im limited becaus i havent received my free EXM 128 Mem Card Yet But None Tha Less IN THA WORDZ OF JEEZY...I LOVE IT.-1-

Only having 16MB shouldn't limit you too much actually, unless you are really working with a lot of chops with a lot of information on them.

Thanks for the info! im new to the mpc and all so i was thinking i was really cut short without my 128 upgrade

it goes without saying but keep in mind as you take on the intial learning curves: you only gotta get through em once per machine, then it's all Flow.
