Sounds different

Ok When I record a sample from my record I hear it one way and then when I go to program it to a pad it sounds total different why is that?

You may need to trim the sample up a bit....mode p5 ....
edit the volume a bit..mode p6 ...give us an example of "sounds different"

could be a stereo to mono issue. a lot of old records when stereo was still a new thing mixed thier songs with certain instruments panned hard left and others hard right, so for example if u sample something in mono left u gonna lose whatever u hear comi out the right speaker and its only gonna record the left. its actually pretty useful sometimes for soloing out stuuf when u sample it or gettin two different samples out of one just by sampling mono right and then mono left......
