First off i'd like to say whats up to everyone on here . Also everyone on here is extremely helpfull ive learned alot so far . One question two parts , im going to try to make this short .

1 I was wondering if there is software or a program that i can use to export my work or tracks or songs etc from the 500 ?. Reason im asking is because i was told i need more memory or ram 128 mb to be exact to resample an entire song i only have 16 mb so basiclly i cant afford it right now.

2 The other reason im asking for software or program is because another individual told me he used M- Audio fire wire . He basiclly did what i wanted to do. He made a mini track and put it on his myspace page . Also that involves money for FIRE WIRE ($200) i dont have right now . So i was just trying another approach in asking this . Thanks i really appreciate it PEacE .... PS .. i was basiclly trying to find a short cut a easy way out you know trying to be slick thats all .. later

If you have a soundcard/audio input on your computer, plug in the MPC500, open some audio software and record it in.

Your computer might already have some sort of basic software to allow audio recording.

Or, use a free/downloadable program like Audacity to record with.

first off thanks so this program you mention will allow me to record the mpc samples into it ? I ask because i can now use my mpc with REASON which is great i use the mpc as the master and reason the slave and controller but i only can control devices and patches that are installed in reason . In other words im tired of reason been using it for a while now , I like what comes out of the mpc but like i stated broke right now . So i hope this program does what i need .. ? Hey thanks for the help again man your a life saver .. pEAcE ....

Yep, it is an audio editing program that will allow you to record from an audio input, soundcard/builtin audio/etc.
