Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

Hi

From reading the MPC1000 manual it seems that you can assign the "next sequences" to each pad so you can change arrangements really easily- eg verse on one pad, chorus on one, bridge on another etc but can this be done on the mpc500?

Thanks

you can chain them together in song mode.

or enter seq. mode and scroll to next sequence. or jump foward to another seq.

good luck!

You can go into sequence mode, move the cursor to the sequence number, then while the sequence is playing, hold down the numeric key, enter the sequence number you want to jump to, and then let go of the numeric key. This is not exactly how it is on the 1000, but I think it feels more direct than using the scroll wheel.
