Returned my 500....

After two days of fooling with that thing I decided I would take it back and just get the 1000 instead.I bought it at my local Guitar Center and It was really cool that they took it back with NO restocking fee and hooked me up with a 1000.The main reasons were the poor volume settings,and the tiny LCD.I am a first time MPC user and would rather use something more user friendly.Plus I find it very difficult to concentrate on making music while traveling.

this all bodes well for me. i'm aiming to pick up a 500 for $400 or less when i head to the usa later this month. i'm sure the price is going to keep dropping as the early hype-rush turns to reality as more people find out it wont make club bangers automatically for them in 5 minutes

Im not really trying to make club banger in 5 minutes..matta fact I dont even like club bangers.I put a lot of time and effort into my beats...plain and simple the 1000 is a much bettr buy,for me at least

I bought the 500 and hated the small screen and lack of auto chop so I got the 1000 now, so much better for the money. The 500 was my first mpc, I'm a keyboard person, I own a motif 6, motif es6, and a juno G. I think the mpc would work great as my gig drum machine but my motif already does that for me.
