Does it sound like my MPC500 is @##%#ed to you??

So I bought my mpc500 used on ebay and slowly but surely one month after having it the following starts happeneing on occasion........

you cant press more then 3 pads at a time while playing a sequence back or it stops the seq.

the top six keys stop reacting to being pressed (the bottom six will play just fine but the top six stop working, sometimes even after you reboot the mpc).

when it loads sounds it automaticly pitches them all over the place, but does not register that it has changed the pitch under mode+program.

when you load a program, you have to go mode+program before hitting a pad gives you sound playback.

...........i got burnt didn't i? Or is this stuff, especially the six keys not working at times thing fixable?

Have you tried doing an OS update or reinitalize the unit ?

Power ON the MPC while holding down the [ERASE] button (this will reinitialize the MPC)
I assume this means reset.

I'm running v 1.12 now and I have less errors than I did with the other OS versions. good luck !
