so i get open the connection between my comp and mpc after just gettin it today and my computer does not respond ? whats going on

Did you go to:

MODE + PAD2 (LOAD) THEN SCROLL TO "USB" ..the USB-cable must be connected..

yeah its says its connected but my computer doesnt respond , like i go to my computor and theres no removable disk thing
