I've had the 500 for a few months, and I am finally starting to have some fun with it. However, my main concerns are:
1) I play everything live, no presaved songs. It seems like after so many on-the-fly additions to tracks, I can't do anymore overdub (overdub+play start won't work). My MPC is maxed out upgradewise, so I'm convinced it's not that. Maybe I'm in the wrong mode?
2) When I save my sequences and turn off the MPC, when I come back to it, the sequences don't have their assigned sounds with it. This is probably a simple fix I haven't found yet. However, I know what each sequence is like, so I throw things in and it's always refreshing.
3) I'm having difficulties with the slider with turning it off once I've been using it.
...even with these issues that I'm sure you guys have quick answers to, I still love this thing. I've used this for many collaborations so far, just not as powerfully as I can be. Any help for these concerns would be awesome. Thanks!!
