What do i need to do to use the MPC as a midi trigger???

for example to connect it with Battery or with the FPC in FL??

anybody willing to tell me?

I guess you need a usb-midi interface to connect the MPC to your computer.

Connect the midi-output from the MPC to the input of the computer, setup your software properly and your set.

Hey i hope this helps I use a m-audio usb uno device. One end has the USB to put into computer and the other end has midi cables In and Out cables for your mpc . Connect this Uno device and then configure everything in your software program. I personally use REASON but it also works in FL. I hope this helps . Peace

i have already done that, but there has got to be some sort of menu or program i need to enter in the MPC itself right?

Create a track. Hit the Params button, scroll to "Track Type", select MIDI as your type. That should do it, MIDI info from that track will send.

Bear in mind, the MPC's default MIDI note assignments are a little weird, so check the manual to see what note is going out for each pad. You can change that. Easiest thing to do is create a program with the note assignments you want and load that any time you want to send MIDI.

Yeah, WTF is with that?

I haven't figured that out yet. It's messed up though.

Maybe it's somehow related to General MIDI mappings? I've created a template for mine to just map each pad bank to an octave. Makes using it way easier.
