Hi everybody.I want to get an MPC500, I never used an MPC before, I have allways used computers for sequencig and I'm tired of it, so I'm thinking on a 500.
Now, I know it won't be the same, and that's fine, I just need advice if I will be able to do some of the things I do in ableton.
I want to sequence two external midi keyboard and record them in audio and work with the audio loops, also I want to use it as drum machine.
I don't make Hip Hop, I do electronic music(house), and have several tracks running toguether.Then I would like to work with the MPC features.
Is it posible to chop loops and put the parts on the pads? is it posible to play loops on the pads? resample? how difficult is to edit audio loops, like removing parts of a sample?
I would like to work only with the mpc and the synths, and when i have a song almost ready go to the computer and finish it.
I know that the 1000 has bigger screen, but I can't afford it.
