Multitracking into a computer

So are there any tricks anyones using (in particular the USB function) to multitrack into a computer aside from sendin each sound individually through the outputs, or moving your files to a 2500. Sorry if this is a stupid question. I have used an XL for years which I'm sure you all know doesn't have USB capabilities.

You can't send any realtime audio thru the USB connection on the 500.
You can load and dump wav/prgm/seq/project or folders to and from the 500 with the USB connection.

I'm pretty sure that the 2500 can load the mpc500's projects so you can multitrack it from there.

No, the USB connection just works as a mass storrage connection. It can't be used as realtime sound port! Sorry.
