Why would you record silence?

U mean to overwrite to the internal ram? Cuase thats exactly what I did. A few milliseconds are enough.

Plus you can change the settings in the programs so all levels are sett to 100 and all pads are set to note off ore something like that.

Good luck!

y dont u just delete all the internal memory, that clears up all the sound. recording silence is still recording something, so even that takes up space. deleting all the internal memory is what clears it up completely.

well its not possible to wipe out the memory on the RAM, the only thing U can do Is overwrite it.

and a 0.002 second of recorded silence dosen't take up anything.

what U Would do is chose "Write to internal memory" and write a prgm to it. that program can consist of personal settings that U most of the time choose to use anyway. Like setting up the levels to 100 or changeing the note on/off on the pads etc. Then you'll have those settings loaded up every time U put the box on.(If U chose the autoloading during start up)
