I came across this video of Snareface.. He comes on at around 5:10.. And looks like he's using an MPC1000.

I was wondering.. would i be able to create my glitchy samples on the MPC? Or am I better off editing sounds on my computer, then bringing them to the MPC. For example, in the video, he has quick 32nd notes all over the place.. If I had a closed hi hat sample (just hitting once), and wanted to make it so that it when I hit a pad, it would do a roll as long as I hold it, would I need to edit it that way on the computer? Or would I be able to do this on the MPC 500? If not, what do you recommend for this?
Thanks
