mpc 500 ac adaptors (extra ones if yours breaks??)

so im partially writing this because its 3 in the morning and i want to vent and partiallly becuause i think i might get an answer before i go to sleep in 5 minutes, but mostly just to vent.

today was going pretty good, chopping some pianos in soundforge, looking forward to my new samples im gona dump into my 500. UNTIL i hear ZZT, shit, that was my 500 power cable frying. now i cant transfer my chops to my mpc via usb becuase i dont have a power cord, and i found out that the 6 batteries are useless for this becuase they dont generate enough power for my computer to recognize my 500 for more than a few seconds. COOL.

maybe this is because my batteries are low, but its probably how the machines were made.

well either way, without 6 new AA batteries, i cant test the theroy out, and i cant transfer my samples to my mpc.

so my question is, WHERE do you find extra power cords for your mpc when one breaks?

i looked on then internet to no avail! i even checked ebay, they have everything on there EXCEPT mpc 500 powercords i guess. come on, someone sold cocaine over ebay, but they cant be selling 500 cords!
im gona check out radioshoack tomarow, i hope they have one with the same specs!

did this ever happen to any of you?


(and by the way, the dude that sold yay over ebay got arrested, so dont look into that for future buisness ventures, stick to becoming the next TIMBALAND/NEPTUNES/RON JEREMY/DRE/KANYE

well i found another adaptor, they do make universal ones at radioshack!

so if yours ever bredks, just take it there so they can see the volts and all that jazz and youll be set for 29 dollars.
