Im gonna burn my setup if it doesnt work!

I just wanna play my mpc prgm with a external midi keyboard. i hooked it up keystation (49e) midi out > mpc midi in
i dont use usb out, but i use external power supply.

settings:
midi/sync
receive channel = all (and i tried 1 -16)
soft track = as track
pad to sampler = on
Sync = off

track
assigned my program
mute track = off
midi channel= off (and i tried 1 - 16)
track type= drum

I already did several combinations and im tired to do it again.

I already posted several times about this problem and YES i already read all the **** posts in this forum and YES i read the manuals and YES ive seen all youtube movies!

can somebody please tell me what the **** problem is? U can make some money if u help me out ait!

Ok. Load your samples onto the internal memory from the CF card and set up the program so that the sample you want corresponds to the midi note number on your keyboard (also make sure your keyboard is transmitting the right number, i.e. check your octave settings).

suggested settings:
midi/sync
receive channel = 1
soft track = as track
pad to sampler = off
Sync = off

track:
track A1
assigned my program
mute track = off
midi channel= 1
track type= midi

keyboard settings:
transmitting midi channel = 1
make sure velocity / volume settings are transmitting at 127 (i.e. full volume).
as I said above, the midi notes must correspond with the program you have assigned

Connect your MPC outs to your monitors. Try playing the keyboard? If there is no sound, try striking a pad (after changing pad to sampler to on in midi settings) that you know a sample is assigned to - is there any sound? If no, then there is a problem with your outs or the signal path to your monitor (check the headphones). If yes, then there is a problem with the path from your keyboard to the mpc or the midi settings within the mpc. Check your cables. Try assigning a sample to every pad on the mpc and playing the keys (does not matter at this stage if it chromatic, we are just checking that a midi signal is being received). Try every key, at all the octaves. Are there keytrack settings on your midi keyboard? Think about things logically.

no man! nothing works thanks for ur help! i tried everything i did exactly what u did and still it doesnt work.. i think my midi keyboard out is broken. so i have to return it to m-audio. ahah im gonna buy another midi keyboard. now im gonna burn my keyboard!! haha my mpc stays..
