Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

Hello all,

First off this is my first post and I'm a newbie so be kind, I've read the instruction manual throughout before coming on here...

I recently bought the MPC 500 as a means to do some sampled stuff live for my band, but I'm having a few problems saving the tracks/sequences i create.
I know theres several different methods of saving, but I've been using the "save entire to memory" and it confirms that I've done so; yet when i turn the machine off and back on again, my previous track/sequence is nowhere to be found?

Any ides/hints/solutions?

Thanks muchly,
Pengueen.

If you save the entire memory... when you cut you mpc back on, go to the folder you saved everything and set the screen to "load sample" then when it ask "clear memory" set it to "yes"

This might not be the best way but its a way I figured out that does work... I'm not sure why you have to set it to "load sample" but if you set it to "load project" it won't load ... Peace

Also make sure your saving samples and system files all in the same folder!
