Hey whats up i got my mpc 500 about a month ago. I been studying the machine but one thing i cant get right is the drum sequence loop. when i record a sequence it goes something like this kick snare kick kick kick snare kick kick snare so on. It will record then when i play it back everything songs right but at the end it stops for a second then starts all over instead of continuing. I have time correct off. when i put a intrument sample in then lay my drums down the sequence drums will loop perfectly and i dont get that annoying pause. How can i just record my drum sequence and make it continue to play instead of pause and start all over? thanks

sounds like to me you didnt play the drums all the way thru back to the begining when you was laying the drums down....

what do you mean 'it starts all over'? loops usually start all over after they have reached their end..

are you using the metronome??

Either that, or your sequence loops too many bars, sequence then params if that is the case, select the sequence to have the same number of bars as your drum loop.

Shorten your bars.

Time stretch your loop and expand it out a bit.

Tune down your whole loop.

Chop the loop into pieces, tune those peices down a little.
