Yo Beat-Tapperz,

Spent a few weeks fiddling, learning, reading here, playing the demos etc. ...when I got back from 'dam last weekend I made my 1st beat on the 500! It's called '500 Snowballs'. The second I made on Thursday and called it 'J Funk'. Nothing fancy but I was pleased that something sorta happened ok...it's a good laugh that lil box, lol.

The others on my page were made on PC and BR-1600, pre-500 days!

Roll steady,

Tex

Nice one!! I liked both of them.. Is that your classical guitar playing in there?

thanks bud!

no classical guitar in those ones although I include it in a lot of my tracks.
there's little bits of FX'd guitar on most of them but I use my semi-acoustics and BOSS FX for that stuff.

there's one on:

http://www.myspace.com/solfasonix (solfa= me + 1 friend!)

...called 'No Comply' with spanish guitar loops (recorded) ...I used do a lot of work like this (on a BR1600 HDR) before I got Reason, and then the 500!

also on that page 'Solfa sonix Refried' - it's me and my friend rhyming, I made the beat entirely on Reason.

Before I got the 500 I'd never had a go on an MPC so it's a real treat!

Stay cool on the other side,

Tex

ping me on myspace if you're up there
