expansion

i just got the ram memory expansion for my mpc 500 and i put it in and it still doesnt recognize it and i cant find anywhere if there is somethin to have to do...um ive tried saving more to the internal and its a no go...can somebody help me?

does it still say (16Mb) when you power up?

i'm not sure but maybe you need a bigger compact flash card, that's what you save data to, not to the RAM chip

the RAM expansion increases your recording time for samples

when i turn it on it says the 128 Mb

but yea im workin to get a bigger card

when you're saving to internal, you're saving to rom or nvram, not sure which one

Ram only only expands the amount of sample time you have as dude said above

If it says 128mb on startup then its worked.
