im really sick of seeing these wack songs and sounds everytime i load up my mpc500 and ive had it for a day... anyway to get rid of these? im never gunna use this bullshit...

you hit mode+load then press the ">" cursor so that the blinking is on top of the word program
scroll down until u see autoload and turn that off
so everytime u turn it on u got no sounds and u gotta load them from your cf card :/

can you save programs in your CF card? and can you create programs using samples in your CF card?

yup u can just press mode+save then scroll to save programs and yes if u wanna make ur own program i believe its mode+programs then u make a new program and after that all your pad banks are empty but u gotta make sure ur in a empty sequence too. just mode+load then :Sample
and scroll to find your samples and it will blink to ask u what pad u want to assign it to.
