Pitch bend wheel

I have a number of multisample programs and I have noticed that the pitch bend wheel on my controller keyboard doesn't pitch any of the samples, is this at all possible on the mpc500? Much easier to add vibrato etc during performance than having to go back in with the qlink afterwards.

The pitchbend is not supported nor is MIDI CC data. It's a shame though, it would make the machine much better!!!
