Is it possible to play my recorded sequence then record a new keyboard or guitar part into the sampler while its still playing, so I can hear the song while I'm adding a new part? Like over-dubbing, in a sense.
The reason I need to do this is because I want to be able to add a keyboard part that has some pitch bends/mod wheel adjustments and I don't think the MIDI sequencer will record cc data. Am I correct?
This is on a mpc500 to clarify. I think the others will do this, but not sure about the 500.
Maybe there is an easier way to do this, but its all I could come up with.
