Beginner's HELP

Hello, I'm in need of some information, currently I just purchased 2 drum machines and one happens to be the MPC500. I have a question about tutorial information, where can I get a video tutorial for this product because the manual it comes with is little hard for me to understand.. Thanks in advance to all.

check it out. its worth it...just bought it myself and received it yesterday, i kinda started watching it....but havent had time to acutally sit down and watch it all the way thru

Why don't you consider buying MPC-Tutor's Beat Making on MPC 500? That's cheaper than video tutorial and, believe me, worth reading. It is well-written and easy to understand, cause everything is explained in a very simple and detailed manner. And, if you ask me, reading is better than watching, because you would elaborate your own style of working on MPC, other than copying somebody's way of work. Finally, youtube is full of MPC videos, but VERY FEW are really informative. The great majority are, besides overall poor filming and editing quality, "look-at-the-beat-i've-just-done-isn't-it-great" type of videos. Though, I can recommend finding and watching 20syl's beat making video and a Jel's live pad performance videos for some inspiration.

I agree with you on the making ur own style...but not many ppl are readers, some as myself are visual learners.....and i highly doubt, many ppl who are are influenced from reading a book about rap.......its always watching or listening to someone and being better than the next man

but if the manuals easier, by all means neccessary...grab it

IMO, i would do both....nothing wrong with having too much knowledge on something u invested ur money on
