Song mode?

Okay, I created 3 different sequences tonight. I went to Song Mode and assigned my 1st Seq. to Step 001, 2nd Seq. to Step 002, and 3rd Seq. to Step 003. Now, I read the manual and that's what it told me to do if i wanted the individual sequences to be played together. I went back and re-read the Song Mode Chapter, still idk. I converted the Song to a Sequence and I went back to the main Seq. page, and clicked play. The only thing that played was my 1st sequence that I had assigned to Step 001, my other two Sequences didnt play at all. I checked Mute and everything, it was off. What am I doing wrong?

OR, you can insert the program change events in the tracks at the beginning or somewhere in the last few ticks before the first bar of the part, where your next sequence starts in the song (or better to say, the sequence which you have from the song conversion).

It's like, say, you have a drum part on track 1, synth part on track 2, bass on track 3 in your seq01. And bass on track 1, drums on track 2 and synth on track 3 in seq02. Then you program your song, say, to play seq01 at first song step and then it switches to seq02. Let's say seq01 is 4 bars long, and seq02 is 8 bars long. So, after converting your song into sequence, you have to insert program change events at 005.01.01 or 004.04.95 on each track. Then, if you add a seq03 with different track program assignments from seq01 and seq02, you'd insert the respective program change events at 013.01.01 or 012.04.95.

Of course, before you do that, you have to assign numbers to your programs, so that they can be changed this way.

Yeah, yours seems to be the right way to do it. And simpler, too But it's great when it is possible to achieve same results via different methods, cause you can always combine them.
