Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

Hi, all.

I have an old Roland MC-50 hardware sequencer and I want a powerful MIDI sequencer with the same features than the Roland one. Is the MPC500 a good choice to replace my old Roland MC-50 as a pure sequencer?

Thanks in advance.

It tends to corrupt sequences sometimes. The step edit sequencer is a bit tight to learn, but steady as a rock when you get to know it. I use mine as a sequencer for my synths, and is happy about it.
