Bug on new OS???

Is this a bug on the new OS or have people had it before the update (I never have)?

I am playing a track - when I hit pads sounds are playing - but when I go to Trim Mode I am told that there are no samples in memory. Just before this i was listening to some samples through the Load mode but didnt load any. I must have samples in memory as the MPC is playing them when i hit the pads.

If I go to save when I select save samples it states no samples in memory - when I save entire memory it saves the samples. After saving I still cant go into Trim mode as it states no samples in memory. But If i load the project file I have just saved it loads all teh samples in and everything is OK

I have just repeated it - it seems if i go to load samples audition one but don't load it then go back to track - then go to trim it states no samples

When you audition but don't load samples, there will not be any samples in memory Auditioning is a preview function, it just plays a sample directly from CF card. So, you seem not to have samples in RAM indeed.

Maybe I didnt explain it well - I am already playing a track with samples on there - as I stated when i hit pads(in track mode) i have samples assigned to my pads - and even when trim mode tells me no samples are in memory i can still hit pads (in track mode) and get sounds from them

Yeah, I haven't read attentively, sorry! )) That's strange then. Please, describe what you were doing before that (how you managed to trigger this bug). We'll try to repeat it and if it happens on someone else's machine, then it's time to report bug alert to Akai

Ok I had a project loaded everything ok, sequence playing, pads assigned with sounds

I went to load new sample but didn't load anything

pressed track button to go back to my sequence - everything still ok sequence still playing ok - pads still playing sounds assigned to them

when i then go to trim mode I am told no samples in memory - although MPC is still playing all sounds assigned to the pads.

***update*** If i do then load a new sample it then allows me to see ALL the samples that were already loaded before getting 'no sample' message. So it can be worked around but seems new OS still has some bugs

I have had this bug on the old OS. I can't remember how to fix this, but there is a way.
